-G4-49-TK Mobile Missile Platform-

_________________________________
"Mobile Missle Platform moving into position!" Captain-Gunner Tazella radioed over the comm system to base, his italian accent resonating in the vehicle's interior. The dim blue lights of the crew compartment illuminated the control panel he was sat at, as well as his crewmates.
"Negative MMP," the radio buzzed, "Vantage Point has changed. Coordinates now 2-3-0... 7-7-1"
"Roger Base, moving to new waypoint immediately! Tazella, out." Tazella replied, and shut off the comm unit. He turned in his seat to see Yates, the driver. He was a young british lad, only about 4 months on the force, but he was a skilled driver, and showed great promise in the Armoured Division.
"Yates, new coordinates! 2-3-0, 7-7-1" The italian pronounced each number sharply, Tazella was a man of pride and authority, and he liked to make sure the new recruits knew it.
"Yes sir!" Yates answered without even turning his head, concentrating purely on driving the tracked artillery vehicle to its destination.
"First volley o' missiles is loaded and primed captain!" called 'Reggie' from the rear of the compartment, his head poked through a doorway leading to the missile room. Reggie was the mechanic of the vehicle, he made sure everything was functioning correctly.
"Good" Tazella replied, and switched on the targeting camera in the missile turret. The terrain outside was bleak, nought but mud and stone after being bombarded by shells for weeks. The bombardment had ended only yesterday, and the forces were moving forwards to the town of Bapaume to destroy the fortified positions there. It was the final objective of the campaign. The tracked vehicle slowly crawled up the boggy slope, hauling its payload closer to the enemy inch by inch. The MMP halted at the summit of the hill, and Tazella looked down upon the valley beyond.
"Vantage Point reached captain" Yates said, turning round. His brown hair hung down over his forehead, and his bright green eyes were a stark contrast to the dark rings around them.
"Take a break Yates" Tazella told him, "You've been on duty long enough. I'll take over from here. With that he pinpointed an enemy bunker and pulled the trigger on his control joystick...
